SCB is commited to the protection of the environment by controlling the impact of its operations through the adoption of sustainable practices and the continual improvement of environmental performance controls and the prevention of pollution. We shall:

Meet the requirements of all relevant legislation.

Implement effective environmental management systems to ensure the environmental awareness of our workforce.

Look to continual improvement to reduce emissions, waste arising and control noise.

Target the use of raw materials more efficiently and the consequential reduction in energy usage.

Encourage suppliers and contractors to maintain sound environmental practices.

Respect the general environment and wildlife habitats local to sites.

Audit environmental performance.

Support and contribute to plc consultation with government and regulatory authorities on the development of cost effective legislation

Health & Safety At Work

The company performs a wide range of Building and Structural operations (including Building, Roofwork, Excavating, Joinery and Paintwork). All work is carried out in compliance with Section 2 of the HASAW with a view to operating within and maintaining high levels of Health and Safety.
